[Smells Like News] Lady Gaga Delivers Smashing AMA Performance
It takes a lot to upstage Lady Gaga live, which tells you a lot about the Adam Lambert AMA performance Sunday night. He actually relegated Lady G to #2 on the list of buzzed-about, flamboyant American Music Awards performances!
That's not to suggest Gaga didn't bring the crazy as always.
In a flesh-colored bodysuit wrapped with white piping, she performed a smashing (in more ways than one) medley of her hits "Bad Romance" and "Speechless."
After "Bad Romance,"she segued into "Speechless" by using her mic stand to bust open a glass box with a piano inside. Then she climbed inside and performed.
While breaking glass bottles, accompanied by violinists wearing gas masks in smoke-filled chambers beside her, natch. A far cry from that old school NYU video.
In short, it was vintage Lady Gaga, and we've learned expect nothing less. Check out her performance below and tell us what you think by voting in our survey ...
