[Smells Like News] Julie Chen and Les Moonves: Expecting!

Julie Chen of CBS' The Early Show is preggers!

On Tuesday's show, Chen announced that she and husband, CBS Corporation President and CEO Les Moonves, are expecting their first child together.

Rubbing her belly, Chen joked, "So it wasn't a big Sunday at the buffet table. I'm starting to show now! And my due date is October 4. So, fingers crossed."

The 39-year-old anchor also said she won't be "taking maternity leave" from her other TV duties as the host of CBS' hit reality show Big Brother.

Said Julie Chen of suiting up for the new Big Brother season, "I e-mailed my boss there this weekend and I said, 'Don't worry. I can still do the show!"'

She wed Les Moonves, 59, on December 23, 2004. Congrats go out to Julie and to Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who just welcomed a baby boy last week!
