Perhaps Andy Keaton is still reeling from the whole "mom's a lesbian" thing. Brian Bonsall, who played the youngest member of the Keaton clan on Family Ties, is in trouble... -- Posted By sysop to Smells Like News at 12/31/2009 06:13:00 PM -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Smells Like News" group. Last night we gave you a taste of the CMA Awards, and now here's the whole set! For the younger women, it was all about the shine on the red carpet from Taylor Swift's typical beautiful sparkly gown to Carrie Underwood's mirrored number. Carrie was one of the hosts of the night along with Brad Paisley, so once she stepped inside it was all about the costume changes for her. Nicole Kidman had nothing but love for her husband Keith Urban, who was a nominee. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw always look classic together and this was no exception. Taylor kicked off the show with a wild performance of "Forever and Always" where she threw around her long blond hair as she sang. There were no semi-subtle kisses for Taylor Lautner this time, but the two have a lot to celebrate next time they see each other - she won the biggest award of the night, Entertainer of the Year! She also won for female vocalist of the year, album of the year and music video of the year for "Love...

Like strawberries and chocolate, or Heidi and Spencer, certain things just go together. Another case in point: Adam Lambert and the Twilight Saga. As two of the most beloved things in the pop culture universe these days, it's only fitting for the singer and the film franchise to collide; and they will, on Halloween. When asked what he was dressing up as, Lambert recently replied: "I love Twilight , I love vampires, I'm a big fan. So I decided to go as a vampire who likes to glam it up." Sounds like the most ideal pairing since peanut butter met jelly. Yes, Adam Lambert loves the Twilight Saga. Just when you thought he couldn't get any cooler! Have you pre-ordered Adam Lambert's debut album yet? If not, you're in the minority! Indeed, Lambert has a number of reasons to smile. His relationship with Drake LaBry is going well , and he seems poised to break numerous records for one's first-ever CD. The crooner himself would never say it, but it's all a great, giant Eff You to the close-minded bigots that have been protesting his concerts. Stay strong, Adam! We can't wait for your album. -- Posted By sysop to Smells Like News at 12/31/2009 04:36:00 PM -- You received this message because you are subscrib...

Cameron Douglas' girlfriend, Kelly Sott, was busted yesterday for trying to smuggle the accused meth dealer some heroin while he was in a courtroom. We can't decide if this is disturbing, pathetic, hilarious or all three. Cops say Kelly Sott was caught trying to pass an electric toothbrush to Cameron Douglas. One that happened to be stuffed with dime bags of heroin, of course. This took place in a conference room in a federal courthouse in New York City, according to NBC New York, and Sott was taken into custody by police. Cameron was in court facing charges from his crystal meth bust . The DEA believes he's been slingin' meth over the last few years. Officials say they busted the 30-year-old after a prolonged sting and that he is not small time . He is accused of being a well-oiled drug machine, selling methamphetamine between New York and L.A., delivering the addictive substance in person, or via Fed Ex from a California hotel, according to the criminal complai...

When Kara DioGuardi was hired as a fourth judge last season on American Idol , critics believed it was a maneuver meant to prepare the show for Paula Abdul's departure. That departure took place this week , but DioGuardi is in shock over it. "I can't get over it. I'm completely shocked," she said on Ryan Seacrest's radio show today. "It's such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants. She's definitely the heart of the panel." What, precisely, will Kara miss about her friend? "The kind of heart she treated the contestants with she treated me with last year," she said. "She was so kind to me and made me feel immediately like part of the panel." DioGuardi also made it clear that her addition to American Idol had nothing to do with Abdul's future. "The way I'm understanding it is that it was her choice to leave. I never was here to replace her. It would be impossible to replace Paula Abdul. She...
